KITCHEN & BATH REMODEL WITH ADDED STORAGE

Many homes built during the 50’s are in need of a few things by now, even if they’ve already been done during their lifespan. The list typically includes a kitchen remodel, a bathroom remodel and adding additional storage. In this home remodel, we did all three.

The new kitchen features a newly opened floorplan by removing a wall and adding a large peninsula eating and prep surface. New appliances, cabinets, countertops and a subway tile backsplash add to the crisp clean updated kitchen which adds a modern, yet traditional, touch to the home.

Added to the newly remodeled home, was a bathroom remodel which carried on the kitchen’s clean modern look. A new walk-in shower with glass door entry and plenty of storage both inside the shower and out fixed the problem of lack of storage which the homeowner’s identified.

Further fixing that lack of storage that older homes are famous for, we reconstructed the bedroom’s footprint to include a mirror-clad corner closet capable of fitting all the homeowner’s clothes. And when the doors are shut, the mirrored corner not only provides an optimal changing space, but it also visually lengthens the room in two directions.
